Continuing work on the cross channel gun batteries and a recent trip to France allowed us to survey and photograph the BCP of Batterie Lindemann; the only surviving bit left of this once powerful gun site. Situated just 22.9 miles away from Dover it once pounded the town with frequent heavy shelling between 1942 and 1944. On our next trip in September we are hoping to conclude our survey photography with updated pictures of the Framzelle, "Grosser Kurtfurst" batterie and Cap Gris Nez Radar sites.
Also busy with frequent trips to the NA at Kew wading through mountains of documents! We are at The War & Peace Show this week end, 27th & 28th July at Paddock Wood gathering further useful photography and material. More follows soon: Steve
